All will be remembered for bringing us a Championship...but Miles' legacy will be stained due to his stubborn nature not to adapt and now, his dirty dealings recently exposed.
Coach O was a likeable man who had his heart in the right place but was lucky to be in the right place at the right time. He was the recipient of a perfect season and a national championship due to a perfect storm scenario. Joe Burrow, Joe Brady, Jammar Chase, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Justin Jefferson and many more really good football players, most of whom are now in the NFL.
Saban is Saban...I will always like him as a coach and cannot fault him for attempting to go to the next level with the Dolphins. I'm sure he would've gladly returned to LSU had an opening been available!

The last three coaches remembered?

Les was a grass eater that was an undercover sleazebag; also won a NC with two losses.

0 was a real Louisiana baw who had an OC and QB that won a NC. And then he rode off into the sunset to Destin with millions, Brandi, and lots of lotion.

BK was fired in 2025 after losing no less than three games each season, never beating Bama, never winning LSU’s Super Bowl, and never making it to Atlanta.

Well…the last 3 LSU coaches all won a National Championship. So what did the last 3 coaches at UF do? I know…it makes you so mad you could throw a shoe…..just sayin’.

Saban - GOAT, what could have been, yada yada

Miles - creep with worst offense of all time, won in spite of himself, fired way too late

O - got us out of the Miles rut, GOAT team, could not keep dick in pants and let it all fall apart, fired at the right time

Is this for real? I hadn't heard this one yet. Ouch.

The only thing people remember about Saban is Bama.

The only thing people remember about Les is the grass eating and general weirdness. Oh and he just got fired for all the rapey stuff.

The only thing people remember about the caveman is his absolute incomprehensible ramblings and moronic statements.

A ton of people remember saban for leaving the Dolphins, when he said he wasn't. So he was both a liar and an NFL failure.

Les was fired after the AU game and well be anything else. Other than that... yes he was wacky.

CEO had the GREATEST team and year in college football... 2019 LSU will always be the GREATEST TEAM EVER.

Let’s not cast stones. Jimbo’s exploits were well known around Tallahassee.

I appreciate what all of them did for us, at some point in their career. Coach Saban blazed the trail and set the foundation for excellence. He made us champions again after a very long absence. Les was able to maintain the program at a high level for some years, also winning a title. O brought us to arguably the greatest championship season ever.

I believe Coach Kelly should unquestionably be EXPECTED to win another title for LSU- perhaps more than one. Anyone who thinks this place isn't still one of the top programs....Well....I'll just say I disagree.
Brian Kelly knows what he's getting into as far as expectations go- and he welcomes it. I believe he'll have things headed in the right direction- sooner rather than later.

Nick Saban:

A great coach that brought us from bottom of the barrel to national champions. I don't hate him at all and thank him for his time here.

Les Miles:

This is harder. He came in and for the most part sustained Saban's success. He was thought of as a good guy while here but stubborn in his later years and wouldn't change with the game which would prove to be his downfall. At the time, most people would have liked for him to adapt and keep being the coach. Now we realize he was kind of pervy so it seems like it was a good thing he was fired in the end.

O:

I think his motivation wasn't that he loved LSU but wanted to be the hero for his home state. He made adjustments to his coaching staff and took risks that paid off. After the natty, his ego got the better of him. In the end, coaches could see the writing on the wall and he had to settle for coordinators with zero experience. I thank him for 2019 but his antics were inexcusable. I am glad he is gone.

Coach O I think will likely be one most fondly welcomed back as strange as that seems.

I agree, long term, O will have the best memories because of the 2019 season. People will forget all the stupid stuff from the last two years.

Saban, respected, but will never be honored by LSU

Miles, could have been a legend but he allowed to much stuff. People will remember all his quirks and the eating grass stuff, but other than that, he will not be honored.
