Let's get this straight: I really like LSU, but my hatred for Bama goes way back to my boyhood and the Bear Bryant era, and has nothing to do with being an LSU fan. I am not just bagging on Bama for luckily pulling out their last meeting with LSU by an arse hair in the last 90 seconds of what was otherwise a beatdown at the hands of LSU. If the natural hate that non-Bama fans feel toward Bama somehow "elevates" Alabama's stature in some way, it is entirely incidental.

LSU is just jealous of the success, they're a pathetic fanbase by and large.

Naw...Alabama is just another game on the schedule. We beat them as often as not. It isn't like we haven't beaten them in ages or beat them all of time. Just a normal divisional game. Nothing more and nothing less.

Until this interweb thingy came about we never heard much of or from them. Too much distance.

For the life of me I can't figure out why they try to stir up so much shite with LSU fans on TD. Must be the empty hole that lowly TN and Aub have left in their crimson hearts.

U might be on to something re AU and UT. Its been kind of like fighting cripples lately so LSU gets to be our playmate some these days.

Seventeen whole points and trailing 14-3 at the half, such a "beatdown".

Jason Watson- US PRESSWIRE

The 2012 college football season was one of the more exciting in recent history, wrought with bizarre, entertaining, and confounding story-lines, as two undefeated teams emerged to face-off in the National Championship game in Pasadena on January 7, 2013: the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

see why we be upset. Alabama is now undefeated.

It is just irritating is all.

Didn't you hear? The SEC offices, convienently located in Birmingham, Alabama, have forfeited TAMU's win over Bama due to it being a victory over Alabama. Slive was quoted as saying "Who do those newbies think they are anyways?". When asked what he thought the rest of the conference would have to say about his decision he shrugged and replied "We expect the vaginal sand coming out of Lousianna to be enough to repair the beaches all along the Gulf Coast, so that's a good thing. Roll Tide!".

So, a game you were losing 14-3 at the half and were getting pounded for over 6 YPC on the ground was a beat down of your opponent? Mmmmmmkay

Or....maybe if everyone else in the SEC would step up and beat them occassionally, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

It seems that I have rustled several Jimmies.

I hope Alabama delivers a beatdown to Notre Dumb. That's one team I just can't stand (even more than Bama). Roll Tide.
