How is that any different than a statue to a living player?

Les Miles will be long forgotten after he leaves LSU, even after the championships
Then LSU has a problem. However, I'm pretty sure your fans won't forget your championship history.

Being level headed left the boards 3 weeks ago.

Andy Griffith statue
I guess a quality artist was not in the school budget when you gotta pay for all the star athletes' cars, suits, and houses for mommas.

So you think everyone being pissed at Miles in 08 and 09 then him being successful again in 2010 isn't memorable? No one will remember that when he's gone?
He's the most exciting coach in college football right now, but he's completely forgettable when he leaves. You're right.

It was named after him before the last game he was supposed to coach for K-State. He retired for a few years then came back.
Not really the same situation.

Well, according to most of the swamp gumps here, Saban was supposed to be long gone by now so it's kinda similar.

Way to go...you've officially doomed one a tradition at your university.

Of a living coach..... Very sad!
Where were you when the Stallings statue was cast, curiously?
Also, an honorable mention, since being alive is a criterion of a statue being 'sad':
You really are a shitty poster.
