No because if we beat Georgia they will surely have to put LSU back at #1 or get ridiculed into obscurity.

Not really. Playing #4 would theoretically be easier but I can’t say Georgia or Bama would be an easy 1st round. Clemson will be a tough 1st round but I think a battle tested LSU will find a way to win against a mostly untested, very good Clemson.

Not that much tbh. It won’t be (and shouldn’t be) easy from conference championship week on out.

But I do have an issue with the message this committee has been sending CFB overall, which is — not much incentive for a strong-sitting brand to make their schedule more interesting than it needs to be.

If anyone doesn’t agree with that, I hope they don’t turn around and bitch about an increase in boring CFB weeks of rent-a-wins across the board.

Past history doesn’t mean much as a predictor in this case. LSU hadn’t beaten Alabama in 8 years either, but that didn’t mean much this year.

At this point just schedule LSU to beat the frick outta Ohio State, Clemson, and Utah or whoever. Need to go back to the computers and BCS.

Cause lsu Didn't cover the point spread vs a weak team and Ohio St played actual competition is why. But Ohio St does not look that strong to me. They a weak team vs actual competition it wouldn't surprise me if Ohio St loses this week or next or both

Being #1 is looking like a big deal this season. I would much rather face Utah or Oklahoma in the semifinals than OSU or Clemson.

I admit I want to be #1 purely for a aesthetics and pride. I believe we can beat whoever the other 3 teams happen to be. But I want to be #1. And I believe we should be.

End of the day, I believe we will be, though, so whatever I guess.

You cant compare LSU/Clemson/Ohio St. at this point.

Not to be rude or start controversy but this is crazy. We are going into what, week 14 and you mean to tell me we cant compare? Lol then what the hell are we doing here then....?

The number wouldn't matter if it didnt come to the brink of them using bias against LSU. You can't look at the resumes and tell me another team has a better resume than them. You just simply can't. Hell if I weren't a fan I'd still say it. Any reasonings to suggest differently are so far fetched that it's ridiculous.

To me this is not about the number but more so about the disrespect that the Tigers are getting because the commitee wants to shift their favorite games into position.

He’s not talking about RESUMES. He’s talking about which team is BETTER, I.e. who would win if they play in the championship. There just isn’t any easy way to tell this.

Then that would be considered a form of bias. Doesn't matter which way you put it.

Tell me that the committee and the media doesn't have some sort of bias.
