LSU fans, dial it down a couple of notches (yes, I am an LSU fan)

Dial it down.
Starting with 27 scholly players on roster, new HC/culture, 4th DC in 4 years, new OC, new QB, new kicker (typically highest scoring position on team), new S&C, transfer portal whirlwind, yada yada yada...
1-0 each week is where the focus should be.
Arkansas back is against the wall. Be ready for a fight.
UAB is pissed in corn flakes before.
A&M will be a fight.
Direction is positive.
Future is bright
For those who have lost this context, you are setting yourself up for head to wall therapy.

We went from getting skull drug by K State in January to being the likely winners of the SEC West, there is zero chance that we “dial it down”. We are ecstatic, and we should be. We are the fans not the players.

If they didn't do that, they wouldn't be LSU fans. They'll be calling for players to kill themselves again in no time at all. Such is the way of the coonass.

You do realize that our focus on any game in particular is abso-fricking-lutely-irrelevant, right? None of us here commenting on anything have any game plans to study, no plays to practice, and no film to dissect. Focusing on one game at a time for the fan base is useless.
So you focus on Arkansas. Make sure you are prepped a not looking ahead. The rest of us irrational people (fans) will keep analyzing what could possibly happen if we win out and piss in TN’s cheerios. Let me know how your game prep goes.

We aren’t on the team brother. Not sure why this matters. We’re having a hell of a season from where we started (as you said) so enjoy it.
