I don't blame you, JK. I woke up this morning and checked the pot on the stove, and noticed that it needed stirring just a bit! ... to an 11 SEC game schedule!

No your post was all in good fun and hey, I think both Saban and Oats are both kind of needling O and Wade a bit but doing it the Professional way. In fact, If I were in LSU's shoe, I would do it the same way.

So we are just following the Golden Rule here.

With that said, I think that butt whipping last year by Bama might have been what got LSU to play with heart and grit the last 2 games to prevent LSU from having its first loosing season since 1999. I think LSU shows up in Tuscaloosa a different team than they showed up in Baton Rouge last year.

Not calling a victory, but a game more like the 2007-2102, 2014, 2016 and 2019 regular season games, which you all hold a 5-4 lead in. the other games, while 2013, 2015, 2017 were competitive for 3.5 QTRS, the games were not 1 score with < 2 minutes left. the other ones well No comment

There's no doubt that y'all will bring the talent. Imo, this'll be a tough game to call early because of all the new kids at the most important spots for both sides...it'll be fun!

Yeeeah, Alabama waits until the LSU game in November to recognize these groups, but "LSU is just another game".

Also, this is A&M score cup petty.

Well I wondered the same thing given Bama has TENN at home this year. I would have expected them to do this to TENN, who along with Auburn are their 2 historic Rivals.

However, I did notice they made TENN their HC game, which is kind of a jab at them as well.

So doing it this way, they get to take jabs at TENN one of their 2 historic rivals and LSU as well.

So objectively looking at it, I think their AD found a way to take a jab at TENN, making them the homecoming game and LSU with honoring these 2 teams.

No, 1980 at Bryant-Denny. Right after State upset and ended Alabama's win streak. That team wasn't about to lose two in a row. Bad timing.

Oh...OK. I was thinking about the '79 game in BR where it poured down the entire game and Bama won 3-0 on a kid's FG after he'd missed several others during the game...all-in-all a miserable time had by everyone!

I doubt it. They say he doesn't get out as much any more.

I was there at that one. 3-0 Bama over LSU. LSU also lost 17-12 to USC that year. Bama and USC were part of that Split NC, one had the AP, one had the UPI_Coaches.

But I believe Bama went to LA and beat USC in 78 and USC returned in 79 and won in BHAM.

One year off. Alabama won in Los Angeles in 1977 -- when Southern Cal was #1 and Southern Cal won in Birmingham in 1978 --when Alabama was #1. 1978 was their split.

LSU should have won the Southern Cal game in 1979. But in the Alabama game LSU's offense never came close. 3-0 is 3-0,but it really, really wasn't that close.

Ok, I remember it happening, just could not get the years correct. Yes, I think LSU passed mid field a few times but never near the 30 yard line to be able to get a FG.

Orlando Mcdaniel made some good catches in that game, don't remember if it was Ensminger or the late Woodley who made the throws.

I'll be there early, but I'll be too busy banging your sister-wives and giving you all future children (your gene pool needs all the help it can get) to care about any of that.
