That narrative can be said for any top team. “Oh if we play to our potential, no one will beat us.” LSU, Clemson, and Ohio state are clearly the 3 best teams in the country and it will be fun to watch the playoff games, LSU definitely has a potent passing offense and Halaire is a good running back, but he isn’t on the level of dobbins or Etienne. LSU can’t win a game with the run, it’s just obvious

I have to agree we have a RB that only rushed for 100+ yards, caught 7 passes, was instrumental picking up blitzes and scored 4TD’s v Bama.

They are the “most deserving”. However, they are not the most complete. Name one game where LSU’s defense shut down the other team’s offense. It hasn’t happened and probably won’t happen unless “LSU plays it’s best game”.
