Agree. Riley can do 1 thing very well: offense. Everything else is a question mark. But I prefer someone like Campbell that can address all phases of the game.

My source has been steadfast that this is happening for the last 3 weeks. You're probably going to hear adamant refusals from the Oklahoma side for the next few weeks while they hire Luke Fickell (that's not 100% though).

Supposedly we have a 12 million a year offer on the table and Riley's camp has been waiting for a few weeks for them to get close. So far that has not happened and the wait is not making the Riley camp happy.

Riley has been feeling the heat and not from just last Saturday. Lots of Sooners think he has soft practices and plays that way against the more physical teams.

It doesn't matter who LSU hires, there will be people saying it was a bad hire, both from LSU fans and fans of other teams

LSU could hire Belichick, McVay and Saban and people here would say it was a bad hire. It doesn't matter. They've spent all this time saying that we're gonna get a mediocre coach. They're too invested now to say anything else.
