LSU actually RETURNS two of it's top three players from last years "D", Delpit and Fullton. Both were preseason All Americans.
Tigers LBs and secondary will be better in '19, especially the LB group. Look for all eight starters at LB and secondary to be on somebody's all sec team.

It ain't rocket science. It also doesn't mean shite when the competition level isn't even the top half of the FBS.
Shut out vs Alabama.
Follows that up with a win vs Arkansas - but you only score 24 pts the entire game. Just under 200 yards and 1 TD for the game...against a team that went 2-10 on the year and gave up on average 37 pts per game. LSU was well under their average. Miss St went out and scored 38 on them the following week.
Next game that 2-10 powerhouse known as Rice. 300 yards and 2 TD's. LSU's offense manages to put up 42 pts.
Oh wait, it turns out Rice is actually the 2nd worse football team at the FBS level according to the S&P and has a defense ranked #111.

A&M comes up next. 74 pts...after 7 OTs. And he accounted for only 21 of them directly. 3 TD's, 2 of them short passes and 1 run. He did ok I guess in this game, but there is nothing special here.
Which leaves the UCF game. Probably the most over-rated team of the past 20 years and nothing more than a fricking joke. Decent stats other than the long pick 6, but again - UCF, not a real team. LSU was the only top25 team they played all year.
Maybe he will improve, but if you can't recognize the shite opponents and adjust, then maybe you should give rocket science a try.

I’m not sure if you are trolling or not, but I was there live and saw what the cameras didn’t. That player was maybe 10 yards clear when that ball was thrown, but he had to slow down to make the catch and the dbs caught up, or at least caught up a little bit.
