It's coaching to disguise the double coverage. Come one man. Mett didn't just go out there and throw and pray. Our defensive scheme was in his head from the beginning.

Mett gift wrapped 3 interceptions into double coverage that any DB who was good enough to receive a D1 football scholarship could make. And the Bears still needed a last second FG. But yeah, Miles is Freeze's bitch.

your scheme had nothing to do with it. mett made horrible decisions. it's really that simple. the double coverage wasn't disguised. it was very apparent. he forced all of those throws. and how did freeze's superior coaching blow a 17 point second half lead? i didn't say that's the only reason lsu lost either. the team played their worst game of the year while wallace had the game of his career. shite happens. you attributing that to freeze being a superior coach is laughable at best

FWIW, your argument goes against OM/LSU in 2012. Y'all needed our punt returner to muff the punt on the 4 yard line to beat us...soooooooooooooo, with that defense, you're going to lose either way.

This doesn't make sense. We've been the better team both years under Freeze. Unless you are saying, LSU was the baby step to get to MSU's level.

LSU has played like shite against Arkansas the past two years as well. Does that mean BB and JLS run circles around miles. you are doing nothing more than showing what we already know, ole miss fans have no problem losing 5+ games in a season if they play lsu close. i still find it hilarious that you think ole miss killed lsu in 2012 and are blaming a muffed punt. you know the total yards were about even. in close games like that, special teams are extremely important and are a very important part about "deserving" to win a football game
