Didn’t LSU go for 2?

Wasn’t LSU throwing deep and finding some success?

Analytics says 2 pt conversion was the right move there. There was a whole quarter left.

Really?

He just got inside the head of the next opponent's coaching staff, who will lose sleep over wondering when Kirby will do it again soon and with what play.

Blessed Lord, why are football fans so dumb?

It's very easy. We were up 25 kicking the extra point makes it 26 and does nothing for us.

Going up 27 means 3 TDs with 2pts and a FG only ties.

It was absolutely the correct call and anyone bitching either can't do math or is a moron. On here, probably both.

Can’t fault his coach for keeping his foot on the gas and developing a killer instinct for his team.

Kinda hard to argue that going for 2 when you're up 48-23 in the 4th quarter is not running it up

It was pretty trashy

Nothing says keeping the foot on the gas like 3 mercy knees from right outside the red zone.

So three 8 pt conversions plus a FG beat 25 points but only tie 27? I get it now….but didn’t think “the book” went into ahead 4 score scenarios.

I think my math may be fricked up but still hung over from last night.

I didn't have an issue with Heupel running it up on Mizzou, I didn't have an issue with Beamer running it up on Tennessee, and I don't have a problem with Smart running it up on LSU.

At the end of the day we lost and I don't really care about the fashion. I do wonder if it was smart to put that play on tape at the time he did when the game is already over and you're about to go to the playoffs but maybe they wouldn't consider that as a serious playcall when you actually need to go for 2 and just wanted to call a trick play to have some fun. Either way it's his call and I take no issue.

Because he didn’t do that. Be thankful for his mercy

Couldn’t hear the commentators comments on it so never heard the rationalization.

Don’t be a dick.

To be fair it probably doesn't but the way they were slinging the ball around and busting huge plays I'm sure he was nervous.

They had 4-5 plays close to 50 yards or more.

i thought about bookmarking all the posts on TR saying they need to take out Stetson’s knee but there were honestly too many to count.

And oddly enough, stetson tried to take out a knee.

I'm printing a copy of that photo and hanging it in a prominent place in my man cave. Epic.
