LSU will likely do a better job than any team all year containing Cam. It will take big fast defensive ends and linebackers to do it because Cam will knock any DB backwards and get at least 5 more yards period. Yes even PP (though he is a beast).

Still, Cam will move the offense and I think we put up about 27. Just have to see if LSU scores more.

Most DB's are like 180-210 lb

PP is 225 solid muscle and more physical than any DB Newton has face thus far, but Newton shouldn't be worrying about him

5'10 180 lb CB is gonna be his worst nightmare

this is pretty much how i feel.

i said last week i didn't think cam would rush for 100 yards but now i'm not sure. he's incredible, so much fun to watch him play.

Umm??

Like I said, PP is no joke, but when he and Cam meet, Cam will knock him back, all things being equal. Those 30 extra lbs matter.

Cam is amazing. He picks up 4-5 yards even when the D plays the play perfect. I don't think that will be the case against LSU the whole game as LSU has players with the size to stop him for no gain. Still, he will make plays running. Question is just how many.

While Auburn hasn't played any very good defenses, I'm coming to the realization that LSU hasn't played any really good offenses either. The closest was WVU, but I think the Barners will be much better. I think we will slow them down, though.

The key to the game is not LSU's defense. It's LSU's offense. If Miles doesn't get his head out of his arse and start Lee, I think we're in big trouble.

Cam will have to beat LSU with his arm. He will not have the push or lanes he had today. Fannin and Mccaleb will not run the ball either. LSU's run d is tops in the country. Arkansas run defense is garbage. LSU force Aub into throwing situations. If Cam can throw it Aub will have chance to win

Agree 110%. AU will score 20+, probably not 30 though. JJ does not worry me, Lee does. He is the key to the game. AU will contain LSU's rushing attack. Not shut down, but contain.

True, but Cam will make some plays running. I would be surprised if LSU holds him to under 100 yards. My guess is about 110-120 on about 18-20 carries.

If we hold Auburn to under 27, I think LSU wins. If we give up any more than that our offense would have to be great to win.

Auburn will easily score around 38 to 41.....

LSU will score about 35.....

Auburn wins it because LSU has never seen anything like Cam. He's on another level.

It will also be a great example of why a QB is more important than a defensive back......

I mean, we saw Tebow for a few years and Cam is not better than him.
