He's not a candidate. LSU kicked that tire in 2016. He's not interested in leaving Oklahoma State.

I have monitored Gundy in other coaching searches, he is a great coach, but leave for LSU? Maybe, but he said he’s a lifer at OSU, plus he took a pay cut, and got told by the Administration he better start recruiting better, who knows, if we are just naming any coach, I think Gary Patterson is a better option as he’s defensive minded, Gundy is offensive minded

I’d be all for it. I wish Mike Gundy came in last year with Kiffin and Leach. The conference is more entertaining with coaches who have a personality.

The 5 year perpetual contract came after the pay cut for the t shirt incident that Chubba called him out on/Covid cut, and I think it just happened this past week? What are they paying him now? I thought it was just an extension
