Clemson better be able to get consistent pressure on Burrow; if they don't, he'll pick 'em apart...

LSU’s defense has improved a lot the second half of the season, we get one of our best pass rushers back, and our offense scores at will. I think we win by at least 10 points.

I dunno. Venebles at Clemson is pretty much a mastermind on Defensive scheming, at least in the college ranks. Him vs. Brady should be a fun game of chess.

LSU shouldn't sleep on Clemson like most fans seem to be, however, not sure why Clemson fans are talking shite either.

He's great but he had three weeks to prepare for Ohio State and Ohio State still racked up 500+ yards of offense with a banged up quarterback and running back.
2018 Clemson was a whole different animal than 2019 Clemson, mainly due to their ability to dominate the LOS on defense.

Burrow's been great against the blitz all year but I don't think Clemson has a choice; think they'll have to send at least 5 to generate enough pressure. Venables is very good at disguising where the blitz is coming from, but he'll have to be at his best to fool Burrow...

What's really interesting to me on this game is Vegas. I see LSU as -5.5 pt favs. However, the spread is currently at 69.5 (coming down some).

So vegas seems to be hedging their bets here. If both of those are to remain close to true, LSU can only win something like 38-33.

Gamblers should be warned of this game, which leads me to believe that this game will be close OR Vegas is looking to crush folks on the spread.

If Clemson has to blitz to get pressure then they are toast. Even if you disguise the blitz and only bring 5, LSU's offensive line has been great at giving Burrow enough time to find the mismatch.

Clemson blitzed OSU a ton, and Dobbins was open all night in the flat. If Clemson does the same, Clyde and Moss will eat.

Auburn's defense has had the most success slowing LSU down, and it was because they were able to pressure Burrow with 3 or 4 and drop 7 or 8 into coverage. Unfortunately for Clemson, Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson aren't suiting up on the 13th.

I think they should spy Burrow with Simmons , rush 4 or 5 , play a Nickel or Dime zone with a minimum of 3 CB's .

Playing man with those three receivers and Moss isn't a good idea , but rushing three and dropping 8 won't work I don't think , because of Burrow's running ability even with Simmons spying.
