Given all the people drowning in student loan debt these days, I sure as shite don't blame anybody for staying close to home to save money.

I agree with this. Bragging about any public school degree is trashy.

Fittingly, you replied to yourself.

just too lazy to scroll up and reply. So often times I just reply to the last comment. Didn't think it would take a genius to figure that out.

Because they can't get in to the big schools or they are poor? Why else would you not choose the team you are huge supportives of?

Seems kind of dumb to go to a school simply because you like its sports teams.

He didn’t say that. He said it financially made more sense for him. I chose UA because it financially made more sense than my other final choices.

Such an act should be commended until the cost of education gets under control. If someone really wants the prestigious name on their resume, they should take the debt on for grad school.

If it motivates you to get that degree and you actually do something with that degree that justifies the investment, it doesn't really matter.

People are way too fixated on rankings and what not. It's often just a way for people with insecurities to lash out. I don't much care where you went to school. Mike Rowe does a terrific job advocating for trade professions, which often pay better than much of what many of these liberal arts majors end up making after spending way too much on college. Find something you can be good at and make the most of it.

Thank you for being a reasonable, rational poster.

So sad to root for a team other than your alma mater. This is one of the most pathetic things in all of sports

Since WillieT has abandoned LSU, retreated
back to Starkville and left with zero ammo against
Alabama, perhaps he should be brought in for
consultation on this matter.
