You’ll never convince any Texas fan that beating A&M is impressive, but compare resumes all you want. Every team I listed there has done more than LSU thus far. Hell go check the conference rankings. You’re weak in the trenches. Ole Miss exposed that and then got exposed themselves. You’re not the team we’re worried about on our schedule this year.

I think you forget you are in the SEC now. There are 5 programs with recent success and Texas is not included in that number.

I’ve seen both teams play, and I like neither one. Texas at the LoS is the difference in that game.

Lol, they were lucky to get 6 pts. If it wasn't for that freak tipped ball to give them an interception and set up their 2nd field goal, LSU would've scored another TD on that pass. The reciever was 15yds free on a slant at full speed.

They had a stupidly good defense.
It was a wet sloppy field that our receivers kept slipping on AND the refs were allowing DBs to absolutely MAUL receivers all game.

LSU will beat Texas in Death Valley this year. Arch is no Vince Young or Colt McCoy.
All we need from Arch is average. Our D won't allow sustained success running the ball and Collin Simmons will make a Sam Leavitt greasy spot on the field if he gets too frisky with his legs. This game will be determined by which team has less wounded players in street clothes.

Trolling aside, this is the reality with the game late in the season. LSU has already had a really bad run of key injuries. Seems like that is happening all over cfb this year. Looks like we are now down 2 of our best defensive players for the year in Spears and Weeks (apparently). Between that and clunky OL play, it’s almost dumb at this point to make any predictions about how the back half and postseason is going to go for any of the good teams.

Your opinion will mean more in football when Texas can provide the SEC a national title. As of right now you have given us as much as A&M and Missouri.
