....is going to be a beast sooner than everyone thought. Hope you can keep your coach because he is legit. Your men are playing like their hair is on fire. Constant effort and playing really smart.

I didn't expect Wade to do much with this roster this year. He has them playing over their head.

Why is beating Houston a big deal? Not trying to be a dick, I don't follow basketball that closely, especially this time of the year.
Was it the way the game went? Expectations for LSU this year? What?

We tried to tell y'all. Can't really blame you though as we only won 2 SEC games last year and didn't have a huge name recruit come in but Will Wade has worked wonders so far and has a great recruiting class.

Houston is a tournament team. LSU is sgettimg better every game. Their coach is a really really good one. It is a big deal because LSU could have laid down when Houston took the lead and everyone would have just said “rebuilding year” and let it go. Instead, they kept fighting, played great defense, they were smart about their shot selection and made a great defensive play to end the game.
This WAS a great win for them. Downplaying it is just showing a lack a basketball knowledge.

Well, Arkansas is supposed to be pretty good this year and Houston beat the living shite out of them by 26. They were 8-1 and LSU just beat them even with their 2nd best player out for the game.

Solid A+ effort tonight, wade really kept the juices flowing. I want to see him at LSU for a long time, he just gets it.
To get a win like this with one of our best players out is big. Reath also didn't do a thing tonight after 30 last game. Whole lot of big time extras stepping up and picking up.
