Not a troll, just saying where’s the typical Third baseman from last year?

Our 3rd baseman from last year was Tommy Tanks. You thought he was from Louisiana?

How fricking dumb are you??

This team has a lot of Louisiana in it, maybe more than 2023

Absolutely not. Your normal everyday lineup in ‘23 had 6 Louisiana guys starting and 8 touched the field during the title clinching win

Beloso
Dugas
Morgan
Pearson
Jobert &
Milazzo all started

Travinski & Guidry came in later in the game

Not close to Houma but I get your point lol. He and Jared Poche are doing a hell of a job coaching at French Settlement HS in LA.

My HS coach was on the ‘91 World Series team and is from New Jersey… LSU is the best program in the country and has been pulling a national recruiting class for decades

Kade is the HC and Poche coaches the pitchers. They’re going to both be big time coaches in LA HS Baseball.

How long have they’ve been there? I just saw their schedule and maxpreps and majority of their losses are to 5A ball clubs.

I sure am glad so many great players want to come to BRouge to play baseball at LSU. Speaks well of Coach JJ and his staff and Baton Rouge, Louisiana in general.

Much easier to pull for LSUs baseball roster than Ala football roster. All great college teams are made up of the best players without regard to where they are from. Many out of state players seem to love the Louisiana lifestyle and cooking. They stay or return after pro careers and typically represent LSU well.

One thing I always appreciated about LSU baseball was there always seemed to be some bad arse from Houma or anywhere inside the boot, but now it’s not like that. Their best hitter is from Georgia, best pitcher is from California, lead off stud is from Compton. I guess the coach is being the west coast to their school since he’s from Arizona.

Stick to packaging that dog food, Ace.

Portal era and Jay Johnson being a recruiting maniac changed everything. LSU baseball is a national brand and Jay is capitalizing on it big time. Going and getting Paul Skenes, Luis Hernandez, Daniel Dickinson, etc is absolutely new to LSU baseball. But, its also new to everyone else as well.

Of course it isn’t they are 16 miles apart. But I can tell because my family is originally from Madisonville. They have a hell of a lot more in common that they do with New Orleans. Especially before the South shore trash moved in and ruined Madisonville.
