Total yards do matter.

Totally bro.

But as I keep alluding to and it keeps getting ignored, what happens when LSU gets down two scores with 6 min left and can't rely on the run?

What about if LSU doesn't ever get down two scores? Your hypothetical doesn't help make your point any less ignorant.

LSU is getting to the meat of its schedule with teams that have scored the ball all year. Every team LSU has played thus far has scored at least 20 points. Its a fair question to ask if Bama stuffs the run and gets up a couple scores late can LSU rely on the #116 passing offense?

Well, last year Brandon Harris entered the game against State down 34-22 with much less than 6:00 left in the game. He went 6/8 for 140 yards and 2 TDs before a Hail Mary on the final play of the game was intercepted in the endzone.

That's really the only time he's had to be in that scenario.

I'll let it go. LSU has no weakness...#116 out of 127 is just smoke and mirrors.

Alabama has a shite offense with essentially zero ability to protect their QB.

No, please, continue. Healthy debate is good for this board. What other arguments do you have?

It actually is. You seem to believe LSU's lack of yards is the result of ineptitude. You do realize LSU is tied for 3rd in the conference at 8.5 yards per attempt, correct?

Can't really count that, but good point. State was in a prevent defense. I can nickel and dime that all game long.

What happens if this scenario is reversed dumbass? We have weaknesses, but you prefer to focus on our strengths ? Have we been down 2 scores to anyone this season? Has our QB thrown interceptions? Has he done anything to hurt his teams chances at winning? Has he been successful when he has thrown the ball? You totally miss the point of the whole thread, but carry on.

Luckily for LSU they're scoring 38.9 points per game this year.

Some of the LSU and Bama walk-ons are not elite talents.

Yes, if we are down a couple of scores late, and Alabama has stuffed the run all night, we will be in trouble, same goes for Alabama. But based on the body of work to this point, every indication is that this game will be very close.

Your only point in this whole thread has been that anything can happen, based on a total yards ranking on a QB that has not attempted many passes. You don't look at the result of the passes he has thrown, his QBR, his running ability, and lack of turnovers.

I have to give it too you. An Aub would be an expert on identifying lack of talent. Thanks for the help. ??

Ok. Take Harris. The thread asked what the weakness was. I'm sure being dead last in the league would be a weakness..

You lost to Memphis State. Badly, I might add.

LSU:

1. Punt and Kick coverage: Not enough LB's to play special teams.

2. Blown coverage

3. Punting: Not flipping the field when we should.
