Why not Tulane? There is a history there and it is closer.

Been there done that, and unless they hire Trooper Taylor as HC they are an after thought since we canceled the skirmish. Plus playing in Houston will piss off UT. I'm already loading up on owl insults.

21-0 and you guys kiss our arse too much on here. You guys are more worried about aubie, who is our rival.

Go try Arky or A&M.

If it makes you tigers feel any better, I fricking hate yall and wish we were competitive more often. The OM-LSU games when we're both good are pretty electric.

Iowa State

The difference here is that LSU won the SEC Championship game...

alabama didn't even play an extra game

We haven't had one of those since 03.

I agree though. Like I said, maybe hell was just waiting to Freeze.

We were both good in 09, but screw that game. In 08 we weren't terrible, but not what we have been lately.

I've moved on to Rice though.

And obviously it doesn't matter. If Okie Light hadn't choked, they would have played y'all. And guess what? The Big 12-4 doesn't have a conference championship game either.

And y'all would have skull-fricked them, and everybody knows it.

But had the system allowed us to, we would have done so happily. In that sense, Alabama was in a double bind. How can you hold us out of something that people had voted us into, when the rules gave us the right to be there?

Maybe it's because LSU fans keep begging us to be their rival, and beggars can't be choosers.

You're right it was strange as in it was a leading question. I understand that you were upset about the game before the game and I can imagine that your being upset was not improved by the beating applied by the Crimson Tide.

With all that said, the fact that LSU was not even competitive should be the cause of concern not whether or not the game took place. It should concern all LSU fans because you had what was being talked about as the GOAT CFB team, yet somehow they were not adequately prepared to compete in the game they were in.

Granted I'm not a Bama fan, but I'd say the list goes like this:
1. Auburn
2. TN
3. Whoever they have to play in the SECCG

Depends on the individual fan's circumstances, really. Houses divided, living on the border, living in Auburn, living in Tennessee, etc.

On average, you're probably correct, at least these days.

Back when both Tennessee and Alabama were good (and during the Fulmer era while Tennessee was good and Alabama sucked), the Third Saturday was a lot more heated.
