LSU at #4 is as laughable as......

having Ole Miss ranked #4 last week.
LSU will lose at least 4 games before the season is over and there is a 50-50 chance they will lose 5.
And if Jevan Snead does not wake up from his acid trip, Ole Miss will have a losing SEC record come year's end.
And but for the luck of ASU's kicker being out with an injury, Georgia would be 0-2 in OOC play at this point.
The SEC may be weaker this year than it has been in recent memory.
Only 2 teams that are even reasonably competitive at the national level......

Actually, you still have not won a LEGITIMATE national title in a gazzillion years.
Backing into a "title game" against a Big Ten team didn't impress anybody......any more than having a bogus "title" in USC's national championship season of '03 did.....

One week ago Ole Miss fans had rooms reserved for the Sugar Bowl and now had a heisman for Sneed. NOw you have thrown him under the bus and the only satisfaction you can get is to hope LSU suffers as much as Ole Miss does? At this point LSU does not desrve to be #4 in my opinion but good news is, we have the $$ and resources to return to prominece should the bottom fall out.

We weren't out to impress anyone. We took care of business and finished the year ranked #1 in the country. Take a picture of that ranking because Ole Miss is never going to smell it.
