Because Mizzou had 7 Q1 wins. Beat someone in the nonconference. Mizzou should have been a 7. Hell, they beat a 1(Illinois), a 2(Bama), a 3 (Arkie), a 5 (Tenner), and a 7 (Florida). Your best wins were against Mizzou.

Didn't a former committee member say as much a few years ago? Something like the bracket and seeding are basically set and they only change when a team steals a bid.
