No punishment for LSU or Lane or else the SEC will have to answer to the Speaker of House of Representatives. Before you all get defensive just remember that man controls whether or not the Protect College Sports Act comes to a vote in the HOR once it passes the Senate later this month.

He's not a powerful man at all.

He's a puppet who carries out the agenda of the swamp.

He has no power.

Here, I'll play a long for a minute.

What is he going to do?

I'll wait.

Instruct the appropriate House committee to open an investigation into the SEC’s conduct. Basically make life hell on the SEC.

The HOR has passed the Save Act multiple times. It’s stuck in the senate.

Look, I don’t think he’s going to need to get involved, but claiming the Speaker of the House couldn’t help LSU if this issue escalated is just ignorant.

And if he was your alum then you’d want him in your corner too.

2nd in the line of presidential succession apparently is not a powerful position to be in, according to some anyway.
