Am I crazy or is this narrative about Nuss extremely forced? His performance against Bama may be clouding my judgement, but he was not impressive to me at all last year. Why is there this assumption he’s about to pop off next year?

It was forced because the prospects this past season were all average at best

He’s only the 2nd QB in LSU history to pass for over 4,000 yards in a season and he did it in his first year as a starter. Nobody has come close to touching Nussmeiers overall performance as a first year starter at LSU. His first season was by far better than both Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow.

You ignorant college football fans forget how bad LSU defense was and never mention how KELLY was 1st in just about every offensive category including the #1 overall offense in the nation.

Probably a little forced due to the lack of QB talent currently in college football. It's known that those accounts on Twitter are also very dramatic most of the time.
