That said, and like others indicated, it likely has much more to do with a scheme change, his move inside and need to gain weight to play there may hinder his best asset (his speed). And, even with the move inside, I thought I'd read that Brooks would likely be competing with a host of others for playing time behind the NDSU transfer, Cox, and Damone Clark.

I'm not knocking the kid at all but those were stupid high expectations by the other poster. He's going to be a great player for LSU but he's no where near ready for the NFL right now.

We should all play that game LSU fans play and presume any reason for leaving falls squarely on the shittiness of the coaching staff and nothing at all about the player.

Oh I know brother. I was just joking with you guys. We get hit like that when we have a transfer. It’s all in good fun. Neither Bama or LSU are going anywhere for a while. I’m looking forward to our game this year. It’s one of my favorite games every year.
