95 Nebraska was better than both. That's a fact. Then 2013 Fsu then 2019 Lsu after them. It might even be some other offenses that was better than that that i haven't been listed yet.

When the history books lists best offenses of all time a team that averaged 48.8ppg will always be listed under a team that averaged 51.7ppg.
Only for people who don’t have the intellectual capacity to consider context. Sure, you could argue that PPG was a definitive stat for the 1944 Army team because they walloped everyone they played (including #5 and #2) in a era where it was much harder to score, but would it be a definitive stat today for a powerhouse team that purposely schedules a season full of cupcakes and then runs up the score every week to get a PPG average of, say, 58?
If we’re talking about the highest scoring offenses of all time, that’s one thing. But the issue was determining the best offense, period. There’s a reason PPG isn’t the only offensive stat recorded and ranked, and it’s not so you can just leave out the ones you don’t like whenever a more comprehensive or subjective question is posed.

This thread needed to be done again... They had a historic season. One of the GOAT but give it a rest. I can understand their fans creating these threads but other fanbases??
How bout you pull LSU's sack out of your mouth OP?

If you play 15 games and 99.99999% of other teams didn’t then it’s not the best ever. It’s only the best against other teams that also played 15.

Who is Burrow, Brady and Aranda? I can’t seem to find them on the roster or coaching staff. Wtf?
You can't find them on the 2019 roster and staff? Have you tried Googling For Dummies?. It should be beween Banging Your Sister for Dummies and Illegal Cable for Dummies(Mobile Home Edition) at your local library.

2019 Lsu offense wasn't even better than the 2013 Fsu. 2013 Fsu averaged 51.7 ppg and 2019 Lsu averages 48.8 ppg. 2019 Lsu had an awesome offense but the facts (stats) prove that 2013 Fsu was even better.
FSU plays in the ACC. LSU plays in the SEC. LSU 2019 is better than FSU 2013. And LSU put the brakes on the offense on a lot of teams in the second half of many games.

Oh please, if bama had a season like LSU y’all would all be telling us to bow down and polish your nuts. Seems like many bama fans can’t handle a rival being successful.

If they aren't THE best, they're one of 4-5 teams that could be considered in any discussion. They're the most difficult to defend I've ever seen, mostly due to Burrow's ability to tuck and run. Tua was a better passer (marginally) and Alabama had more/better parts, but Burrow's size and speed to run draws and convert with his legs + his calmness under pressure were amazing.
It's really hard to not like the 2019 LSU team.

Fsu was better. Jameis Winston was taking a shower at halftime getting ready for the after party. Jacob Coker was was getting reps preparing for his time but he graduated and transferred to Alabama understandably instead of wait another year. All 22 starters off that team got drafted and went to the NFL. That's how talented they were. Lsu had one of the greatest offenses of all time but 2013 Fsu was better.

You guys always like to remind Bama of the past. Therefore, stop living in the past.
In your return to mediocrity the next several years this is the year will hear about forever that’s all you got to hold onto. #SadShit
