Every school in the SEC has a club lacrosse team. Many of them are very good. The majority of D1 schools in the country are club teams. Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the US and most of the club teams play in a league with a national championship at the end of the season. The ACC and the BIG 10 have a few D1 programs. All of the schools in the Big XII are club. Regardless of their status, there are many exceptional players at this level who pay to play a sport they love.

Underrated sport, quite honestly. Know several that have played it.

I knew UF had one, but wasn't sure about all others. Obviously it's huge on the east coast, but wonder how much it's growing otherwise.

How can a game that was essentially given to us by the Native Americans be the fastest growing sport in the US?

I think it's more accurate to say it has been in steady decline over the past 300 years or so.

Played at A&M in the late 80's. LSU was the best road trip. Two hours trying to kill each other, then they would roll a keg and 100# of crawfish out into the field afterwards.

BTHO Ole Miss today at noon.

Played lacrosse in high school. Very fun sport. It's gaining popularity pretty quickly now.

Didn't LSU fans get pissy just last night that someone posted about their hockey team getting destroyed because it was an irrelevant sport?

A sport played with a helmet, cleats, shoulder pads, on a grass field larger than a football field and everyone touches the ball. Maybe you need to broaden your horizons or maybe you need to pull your head out your rear end!
