The season may be near but it is still offseason as far as I am concerned so how about 1 more offseaon topic?

Would the perfect ending to this early season matchup for A&M fans be a bomb going off destroying both teams?

I can imagine aggies watching the game going "No, No, NO, NO , NO! shite!" No matter who plays well.

Dumb topic I know, just wanted to hear what the Ags opinion is since there is no love lost between them and either team.

Not really. I will 100% be a Tiger fan. There will be no conflicting emotions whatsoever.

I think you're underestimating how much most A&M fans hate Texas.

I'd guess the vast majority will be cheering for LSU.

They're 100% with LSU because, if you win, they'll get to glom onto your success and claim a little of it as their own. That's the whole reason they joined the SEC in the first place: reflected glory.

That would be a convenient way for Aggy to avoid ever having to play Texas again.

And Austin would be destroyed, which would no doubt please many Aggy and non-Aggy fans.

While it would be truly terrible for LSU to lose our team in such tragic fashion, it would be like "We Are Marshall" on steroids and we would launch a new team with Burrow and Coach O versions 2.0 that would be born again hard to really really beat Bama for real.

If sacrificing Austin and this year's team is what it takes, it could be *worth it*.

I think the thing where they make much more money and have a more stable conference also had something to do with it.

It just makes more sense to cheer for LSU because we play them. When we beat them it will bump us higher.

You wanna see hate... Check out Texas fans root for their "real rival" OU in the cotton bowl

Reflected Glory is much better than claiming you are back after losing to a 5-7 Maryland team and a 6-6 (I think) OK St. team. Sure you beat a UGA team that sat all it's best players and was disappointed they weren't in the playoffs by 13 fewer points than LSU beat that same team with all their dawgs full go but hey, Miami was back in 2018 so...

Those are fringe benefits. They know they'll never be championship quality, so they'll settle for a conference where the good teams tolerate lesser teams bathing in their spotlight. Texas and OU wouldn't allow that. Alabama does.

Better to think you're back and be mistaken than to never have arrived in the first place.

SEC: Where the E stands for Excuses. I wonder what your excuse will be when you get beaten in a few weeks?

Oh, yes. We will put up a banner, print t-shirts, and order rings.

Schadenfreude got NOTHING to do with it, right?

I bet you sips were pulling for us to beat your REAL rival, OU in the 2012-13 Cotton Bowl so you could dick ride us and claim a little of that success as your own, weren't you? Oh, wait. You homos were hoping to ride that Sooner dick in the same fashion you have made the basis of your above accusation.

Which is more pathetic?

You should really try making posts that contain neither the word, "brother", nor the word, "daddy".

It would help make the world a better place, and you wouldn't come off as quite so obsessed with familial relationships.

I was watching the game hoping for a meteor, but also because Johnny Eightball was fun to watch despite the team he played for.
