Wait a minute, didn't Alabama just have a bunch of players "suspended indefinitely" over the summer, and some even kicked off the team?

The way I read the policy is that the first violation is probationary and does not escalate to a first offense unless you fail a second test. Once you get an ADAP violation you are suspended on a second violation.I read this to mean you must fail 3 tests to get suspended. Am I wrong about the probationary violation?

i dont really know to be honest. i just looked at the chart from that link. everyone was the same basically except for ole miss. they had no punishment for a second violation and 3 games for a third violation. i laughed at that.

Maybe, maybe not...the fact of the matter is most LSU fans expected this type of success for 2012 with Zach Mettenberger leading the helm under center...
We have not "squandered" anything yet, and I can tell you this...LSU is a very close knit group who plays with the "me against the world" mentality. I do not disagree with your post but don't be surprised if in the next 2 years LSU wins 2 crystal balls...they will easily be a strong contender for the title in 2011, 2012 and 2013...
That being said, Im looking forward to my first game in BDS when we play Bama...should be epic no matter who comes out on top!!

Where does the info come from that Miles is suspending them for a first offense? I am not disputing this, merely questioning as to the source of your information. I think Miles is a high character coach who would suspend his kids even if he didn't have to if he thought it was in the best interest of LSU football.
