Always read the rival message boards. It's fun.

Found these gems on a board posted right after we hired Kirby:

Well, since 9 win seasons are no longer acceptable in Georgia, they turned around a hired a guy with no head coaching experience to solve that problem. Sounds like we come out a winner to me.

This is great for U.T. #1. He is not an experience head coach. #2. He will end up just like Muscamp did while at Florida and fail. #3. Smart is not ready to be a head coach. He is hiding behind Saban's coat tail. Smart doesn't make decisions. Saban does.

What's your assessment of Kirby & his staff's development of offensive skill position players?

Pretty good:

2026 Pro Bowlers: James Cook, Brock Bowers, George Pickens

Top 100 players in NFL post 2025 season selected by NFL players:

Ladd McConkey made the list in his first year.

We have tight ends all over the NFL right now because even if they aren't offensive receiving weapons, they block their butt off.

Charlie Woerner been in the league for years now.

John Fitzpatrick still gets significant snaps and has been on a roster every year since he was drafted in the sixth round in the 2023 draft. Not common for that late of a pick.

Darnell may be the best blocking TE in the league and Rodgers has made him a receiving weapon at times.

Doesn’t everyone need to develop in everything they do, including coaches and regular students? People make a big deal out of this shite because they just don’t like NIL and the portal because it interferes with their ability to jerk off over the perception that Tommy Touchdown really cares about State U.

Some players will lose their head over money, just like countless young actors, athletes, and musicians have for decades. Some players will be smart and disciplined and thrive. In any case, college football players have joined the fraternity of highly paid entertainers - and it was a long time coming. Get over it.

He's not saying they shouldn't portal, boss. They'll still have that opportunity after the bowls.

He's saying why not take the opportunity to practice now and get better and then do it.

I’m talking about fans posting this shite. It’s motivated by a dislike for NIL and the portal.
