Oh, but yes.

Oh, and they riot too. They just don't do it right so it doesn't make the news.

It's not the football team it's just the culture fit. IMO Mizzou fits much better in the Big10 with those teams than the SEC. I like Mizzou it just seems like they jumped the gun a little to get out off a sinking ship.

It's funny that you would say this because I like A&M and I live in San Antonio, but your tradition are more military than SEC.

Legitimate question, is Mizzou (fanbase, alumnae, president, board of regents, faculty ), really ALL IN? Or do you think they might jump ship if the BIG came calling

Unfortunately for them one year doesn't make a sustainable program and it'll be interesting to see if they can sustain success in football when they transfer to the ACC. You're talking a little over two decades ago they seriously considered dropping their football program all together.

As others have said, they have no market to bring to the SEC that the SEC doesn't already have. While the Yum Brands venue is great for basketball, they'd have to upgrade again for football to be viable in a conference like the SEC. It's a commuter school in an urban area and doesn't at all fit culturally.

In the long run Mizzou will be the better get.

Louisville is UK lite though, always has been always will. This season won't change that even though Louisville had a great year in the big 3.

They won the Men's basketball title. Won the Sugar Bowl in football. Made a Super in baseball.

I would say that Louisville is having the best all around season in the Big3 sports and it isn't really all that close.

If Louisville had been just a little further over the border in Ohio, they would have received serious consideration for membership. If the SEC expands to 16, I think we should really consider having at least one of those schools be a basketball powerhouse. I know football drives everything, but the SEC Network is going to have to provide decent content year round to succeed and we need to be a reputable basketball conference as well in order to do that.

I'd rather have Louisville from a competition standpoint, but expansion is about money and not competition. Not to mention UK wouldn't allow Louisville in, just like USC, Florida, and Georgia won't allow Clemson, FSU or GT in.

Lol at all the UK fans bashing UL. I'd love to see a ten year comparison of the big 3 sports. I'm not saying the Cards will come out on top but I think you folks will be surprised.

Well, if Louisville fans didn't make it so easy to do. If they weren't a living breathing stereotype it wouldn't be so easy to bash them.

Oh, and Belle attended Louisville. She has a good idea of what the fan base is.

As Cat said, I went there and I live here so I have a pretty good grasp on things. And I imagine with all the Rent-A-BCS Bowls the Big East has had, it's probably pretty easy to get to one in a conference like that. Unfortunately Louisville still has as many Sugar Bowl wins as Kentucky does at this point.

We could compare championships though. And why just ten years?
