Ellis didn't have good stuff and that ump's mobile strike zone rattled him pretty bad... But he definitely called it poorly both ways... That's all you can ask for.

I just really want Trent to pitch us to a win tomorrow ... If we lose on Monday we lose on Monday but ULL won't be walking around so loose with that swagger in a Monday elimination game... I think they might tighten up a bit... Of course OM probably will as well.

He'll give up 7 in 2 and a 1/3. We come back to go up 8-7 then lose in a walk off.

Y'all OM fans are pitiful! Lose one game and already waving the white flag put your big boy panties on! Maybe Ulala is better than y'all, but Jesus, starting a flame thread about LSU is turrible when you still have a chance at Omaha. Will you win it all???? Hell NO but dammit at least try this year!

Cause I told DMagic a couple weeks ago that we were gonna back door a team in a Super to make it to Omaha and then make some noise when we get there ... And we both had a long laugh about it.

Well there were also hundreds of Cajun fans watching from the parking lot. I was one of them. Tickets weren't easy to come by. So it wasn't just Ole Miss fans who were shut out.

We don't whine about losses... Water off a duck's back.

State fans whined cause they were told they had a good team in the preseason when in fact they weren't all that good ... OM fans were told we were gonna suck so running into a better baseball team on the road at this point is what it is... Just want to see our team play better tomorrow night.

They weren't getting good swings at him the first couple of innings. The wheels just came off. There is a snowball effect at their place and I'm afraid they'll hit a wall once they get to the CWS which I think they will. Ole Miss will not beat them twice down there.

Omaha is just a different beast. There's no feeding off the crowd or swinging for the fences there. Batters are on an island so it feels more isolated. Pitchers can take a completely different approach not having to worry about the long ball. Outfielders can play extremely shallow. The bunt can be played more aggressively on defense since it's not on turf.

Not that they can't play to that setting but it will be interesting to see if they can keep that pace without the crowd behind them or will they have a different approach.

that was just a shot at some of the whining coming out of Starkville after last weekend. I think OrthoReb was in attendance. I'd like to hear about experiences of any Rebs who were there.
