Ace's return v Georgia was the only time I've ever been in W-B where the sound erupted so much so fast that it created a vacuum pocket where you could only feel the vibrations for about 6 or 8 seconds - that was up in 306 too -
Squeaky's TD in South EZ vs UF in 2001 the play after recovering the fumbled punt and Brad Edwards' pick 6 in '87 Clem game to seal it the other two that had that same violent sound W-B can produce

This one will give UGA fans PTSD...
Usually we are kicking off at 10:00 GMT.

Entire day of FIRST TIME EVER IN JH. Nothing will ever be like that day. Nothing!
Bama had zero chance from 8 AM that day.

The following was taken from the ESPN direct feed during breaks and commercials of the 2012 SC vs UGA game. After Aces punt return for TD:
quote:
"Can you believe this?" -Herbstreit
"I can't hear a thing" - Musburger
"They (uga) don't have a clue right now" -Herbstreit
"Can I get an adjustment, I can't hear"- Musburger
"Can you feel this? Is our room moving?" - Herbstreit
" 6 west just said the same thing" - Unknown male (Booth guy referring to camera guy stating his position is shaking)
" Like bouncing kinda" -Background voice (Different booth guy replying to Herbstreit)
"I think it is" - Herbstreit
" South Carolina smacked them with that one" -Musburger
" I don't know if they come back from this one" -Herbstreit
" Is this the best scene in college football you've seen Herbie?" -Musburger
" I don't know if it's the best ever, but it's the scariest yeah" -Herbstreit
" Remarkable scene" -Musburger
" Unbelievable" - Herbstreit

'89 Iron Bowl would win as far as sustained noise for whole game.
Kick Six would probably take it for most noise on one play.
But outside of those, I doubt much comes close to 1994 LSU. Auburn was still on an undefeated streak into Tot's second season. LSU wasn't great but came in and dominated and looked like they would end the streak. But then the ultimate JHS voodoo happened. AU intercepted 3 passes and returned them all for TD's. (AU had 5 total INT's for the game). Here is the 3rd one:

The loudest I’ve heard was Mason Taylor vs Bama, Tyrann Mathieu’s punt return vs Arkansas, or when we blocked Bama’s game winning FG in 08.

The Arenas punt return for a TD against LSU in 07 was the loudest I've heard in person.
This might be the loudest I’ve heard an opposing stadium.

Now that we have 16 teams in this conference, what would you say was the loudest moment in your stadiums history?
Not necessarily the loudest moments...
But back in the ancient days you really didn't know how other games in the country were going until your public address announcer gave scores of the other games.
Since this is the SEC Rant... I will give you two examples of Owen stadium erupting when the PA guy gave a score.
Dec. 2, 1972. Oklahoma was whipping Oklahoma State and the announcer came on and announced during a break...
"We have a final score from the Southeastern conference.... Alabama 16...Auburn 17." (He would trick the crowd like that at times).
The place went nuts.
On Nov. 18, 1978 (which was infamous for the Jonestown massacre) OU was just a week removed from a devastating loss to Nebraska which ruined their chance for a national championship.
The PA announcer got on there and said..."We have a final from Lincoln. Missouri 35- Nebraska 31"...
Again, the place went crazy..... and OU ended up getting revenge on Nebraska in an Orange Bowl rematch.

1972: Bert Jones to Brad Davis with one second to go.
I’ll let Ole Miss fans fill in the details.

The Langham pick 6 to seal the SEC championship in ‘92 (Legion Field) could have been if half the stadium were not suffering from hypothermia.

I was there, it was an incredible game. I was a high school student and it was my second game to ever watch in Tiger Stadium.
