You’re right, Dabo is a much better comparison for Kirby.
If that’s the case, imagine getting your shite pushed in my Dabo after his natties

In the middle of football season you’d think we would have better topics. My opinion is simple. Kirby shouldn’t have said “idiot” and he apologized. All coaches including him are trying to keep their programs from becoming a circus. Money is flowing to a bunch of walking idiots. Let’s all be honest. Even a smart 18 year old is a stupid person. We’ve all been there. The CFB landscape is changing at a rapid pace and the coaches are all trying to get a handle on it.

Kirby won’t be around much longer. He looks like he is transitioning into a Lesbian and he’s getting fatter by the year. Too much stress.

If Kirby doesn’t get radically different with his offensive coaches and philosophy they will not touch the unprecedented success they had the last 3 years again.
I tend to agree with the first statement although I don't know if "radical" is appropriate. IF what UGA has done this year were executed, if the QB is slightly more accurate, the line and TEs/RBs slightly more efficient blocking, receivers were slightly better at actually receiving and weren't club fisted at times and the secondary was slightly less apt to blow 4-5 coverages completely a game UGA is, in its current manifestation, nearly impossible to beat. UGA is, as bad as they have looked relative to recent UGA teams, is not far off the mark - far enough to have lost 2 and counting obviously but its not hard to see that any improvement in any one area, very slight inprovement, and UGA is far better than they have looked. Thats the change that is needed.
As far as reaching the level of success that they have enjoyed the last 3 seasons that is unlikely to happen again for ANY team, no matter the coach. Historically there have been a handful of teams which did it. It is an OUTLANDISH measure of success. In the current era I think making the SEC CG should be the measure of success....UGA did not reach that bar this season but being one of the 2 best teams in the best conference in CFB playing the toughest schedules week in and out. often on the road in some of the toughest environments in CFB is FAR more impressive than surviving a 12 game regular season schedule with one or two competitive teams and having enough depth to win a Natty at the end. The reason the SEC champ has won the natty so often is because winning the SEC is harder to do than winning a natty. It is also why the SEC runner up has made the playoffs in a 4 team field so often AND 3 Natty games featured 2 SEC teams.

This is an antiquated perspective. Some of these kids are already being given salaries that approach what their position coaches make.
And they are a hell of a lot more important to winning and the visibility of the school ($$$) than their position coaches. No one gives a shite about a position coach.

I know the guy that Kirby criticized isn’t in this group, but can you imagine the bullcrap that would come with coaching a teenager who owns a Lamborghini?
And they get paid north of $10,000,000 to figure that shite out.

It definitely would be Dabo like to prep his team up for a Super Bowl mid season and crumble after.
