And yet gumps are the ones currently crying and trying to lose a big six permanent while LSU fans want to add one.

Speaks volumes honestly.

You're telling me with a straight face LSU's second biggest rival is Auburn over Florida, Ole Miss, Arkansas, or aTm?

It changes based on age. For LSU fans in their 30's and early 40's, Auburn and Florida were the biggest games.

While I would much prefer to keep LSU as one of our permanent games, replacing LSU with Oklahoma is at least a quality change. It would've been pretty gay if we replaced LSU with Vanderbilt

I love the game, but still feel like Florida prioritizes Georgia, Tennessee, and obviously Florida State over LSU as its rivals.

I’ve actually had many Florida fans tell me they’d rather play Auburn annually as opposed to LSU.

That's true. I love the game, but I also understand why they would change it. From a purely selfish standpoint I wish it could remain.

Ole Miss was a major rival for LSU from about 1957 to 1972, the Johnny Vaught era. The game lost its significance soon afterwards, as the Rebels have maintained a level of sustained mediocrity for decades.

I remember those days. Ole miss was a big game.

I live in Mississippi now. My dad and grandfather still tell me to set my clock back 1 second when I drive home.
