CBS would try to show replays of everything so the viewers could see what happened. Penalties and everything.

Too many folks were getting to watch the game for free. (Your local CBS affiliate via free over-the-air digital antenna.)
They can't have that!
Got to pay for internet and a subscription service which means more money for everybody. Except the consumer.
It won't be long before there are NO free viewing options for sports.
That's the long game. Suck more money out of the viewers.

I disagree.

You always miss what you're used to, at least at first. Personally I'm fine with ABC, ESPN, and Fox, especially when you throw in knowing KO times more than a week or 2 before the game. And I'm very happy to never have to listen to Danielson again.

Because he’s the best at breaking things down in real time, explaining the rules, explaining strategies and matchups, etc. people hate him because he’s opinionated, but he’s the best there is.

ESPN and fox broadcasts are garbage in comparison regardless if you like Gary or not. SEC on CBS just feels right. I get nauseous when i see a big ten game on it in comparison.
Sorry can you repeat your post, CBS was in a TV timeout for it.

I never understood their undying dedication to GD.
He understands the game, does his homework on teams and is one of the best color commentators in football there is.

CBS will always have the greatest intros. You can't beat this. Turn it up.

There are many color guys who are better technically than Danielson. Alabama made a huge defensive change after Georgia's first TD drive (changed from an odd to an even front and went to 2 deep safeties) and Danielson didn't notice or mention it at all.

I liked CBS after Vern left.
Will ESPN keep the same time slot or adjust?

Mark Jones is going to trigger the SECR for years to come. Everyone will be begging for Gary soon.

I can't stand to listen to Gary but ESPN isn't even in the same league as CBS in terms of coverage quality

Is the UT game seem darker than the other game? Looks like an eclipse is going on.
