"Out of curiosity I did skim the Wetzel podcast. I did NOT sit and listen to the whole thing but I bumped it forward through the entire show. The only non-football mention of Trent Richardson had to do with his stated reason for getting a speeding ticket which he blamed on the rims. They found it humorous and compared it to a kid in Oregon telling the cop there was no pot in the car because they had already smoked it all. They didn't dwell on it beyond that."

I need to point out that Alabama had NOTHING to do with the Cam Newton mess..not the school and not the fans nor the REC. Did we laugh..hell yes we did.
Just like the Barners laughed about Albert Means and all that followed. Hell the Viles were behind that and we haven't been behind their troubles either.
to my knowledge Bama or no persons associated with Bama have had anything to do with the recent reasons they are under investigation....for that matter I can't recall us having anything to do with their past troubles either.
There hasn't been an Operation Dead Big Cat or anything like it that I have ever heard of.
However.I can go back to Corky Frost paying Gene Jelks.....Operation Red Dog in Gadsden, the Barner that tried to be best buddies with Julio and Mark Ingram, and now this.
I think deflecting about us laughing about Cam is garbage. The ones that need help are the Barners.
