Hmmm a 21 year old guy with multiple years of experience exploring his options for the best team for his career?

Or a 19 year old kid whose word means nothing and is only biting the richest hand that feeds him?

Good job, LSU on being the manifestation of everything wrong with college football right now.

You might want to check out the LSU Recruiting Board before you start celebrating.

I’m no LSU apologist. They got problems. But, 19 year olds looking for a pay day and 22 year olds looking for more eligibility is basically the sum of the sport right now.

He did. LSU didn’t offer him. It was not his choice to say “no”.

I think because of the lack of depth we ideally need someone who can come in day one and start. Leavitt is also possibly one and done and that one is not even a full year. Leavitt is a really good but at the earliest starts practicing this summer and more than likely its after that. Not a perfect fit for us but could be a much better fit somewhere else. I believe he is stalling and waiting for either Oregon or Miami.

From an outsiders perspective, it looks more like Leavitt said no so LSU pivoted.
