But he looked tough Saturday. He grew up a lot in that game.

Agree. Looked like he had finally gotten somewhat comfortable with the college game by the end. Hoping he is back in action soon. I'd like to see him grow into a solid player.

The play where King hurt his leg looked to be one the refs blew dead for illegal motion and your defender hit King low regardless.

Real tough guys.

King has given his body to this team. Question his ability, but finishing the game with a broken rib would explain the terrible last play.

I don't hate King. I hate that he has to be injured for Fisher to prepare for next year. Fisher is an idiot who will only play the freshman if forced to do so.

King really toughed it out which is very admirable. Broken ribs are no joke and they even hurt just to breath. Hats off to King for giving it all he had. Posters calling him a quitter are idiots.

At this rate, A&M is gonna be starting a WR or CB at QB.

We can’t.

Anias Smith is out for the year. So there went that option.

Conner Weigman or bust at this point.

“ King was a warrior Saturday night. Guy certainly earned the respect of his teammates with the way he kept getting up and going right back into assured annihilation. Battled his arse off.”

Yes he was! Dude gave it everything he had and was playing on pure guts at the end, and damn near pulled it off!

If max can’t play at lsu or a and m, I’m afraid the only other program shitty enough to utilize his services would be Auburn

Maybe Kiffin can coach him up to be a serviceable QB

Greg McElroy played both the SEC and national title game with broken ribs.

King is not a quitter. He's also not the future. This season is OVER, with a capital O. The new offensive line coach may not even make it to the end of the season. And is Weigman ready? Absolutely not. But Fisher is a moron if he doesn't get the kid some snaps before next year. Watch it end up being Stowers ...

It actually would be the best thing. No pressure, so he could just go out there and let it fly.

Exactly. The team should be healthy after the bye week which gives him 2 weeks to build chemistry.

We get SC to start them Ole Miss at home.

After that the schedule really cools off. This is a blessing if the O-line can protect him.
