Explain the Cam Newton reference. I took that to mean if LSU is not proven to have known Simmons signed with an agent then you will still assume they knew. Either way, LSU must be punished.

Whoa... I'm all for taunting LSU but that is just cruel and heartless. Make it twenty year contracts so the LSU fans at least have some hope of living long enough to see this scourge lifted from their university.

Nice try but that's not how vacated wins work. It isn't a forfeit, it's just like the game was never played.
Also, even though this is a thread about basketball, the next LSU win over aTm makes it 6 straight in football. "inb4 changing the subject, more sec titles in equestrian, et al."

um, he's not wrong. We beat you both times last year and 2 of 3 this year. If you vacate the win, that means we've won 4 in a row

The NCAA should give LSU a 3 year post season ban for this by making LSU sign Johnny Jones to a 3 year contract that can't be voided.

LSU was so bad this year that it makes me wonder why you all are so eager to see LSU go on probation.

Which makes no sense because the defeated team still keeps the loss. In this case, it would be 5 straight losses to aTm for LSU but not 5 straight wins for aTm.

i meant the cam thing as far as the player supposedly didn't know just like the osu players didn't know about selling their osu trinkets- it was a common excuse used there for awhile. probably really had no reference to lsu i just think that's a pathetic excuse to use when players are supposed to be taught the rules by the school. ben may be a bad example for that tho, i don't think he ever cared what lsu told him.

I don't think there's much to say or debate with that. If they were going to suck they were going to suck. I can't see how thats Ben Simmons fault. Everyone already knew what he was going to do at the end of the year no matter what. Without Ben Simmons we might have won 10 games. That would have been worse.
