Maybe. In that case, I'd have expected him to quote "Arkansas and Bama is" instead. But who knows?

You’re all wrong about Connor. Non-homer armchair qb analysis. He’s a quick study, able to think fast, has a good attitude and high ceiling. He isn’t perfect and as is typical of the last several years he is a victim of his offensive line primarily. He is not functionally the best qb in the league despite what my fellow aggies would like to claim. Results matter as well. He’s great, but don’t expect everyone to agree.
That being said. I think Johnson is probably the most reliable backup we have had on the roster since I stepped foot on the campus at the turn of the century which is one good think to take from all this. I hope it doesn’t turn into a controversy. If it truly is a high ankle sprain those don’t heal in 2 weeks. That is ridiculous. Those can take months to heal to strength again and in some cases have lingering after effects for years. I don’t have football player genetics, but I still have issues of ankle instability from a high ankle sprain I sustained over 20 years ago.
Unbiased opinion, it’s Max’s team the rest of the year. Not in terrible hands, especially if the offensive line starts to shore up a bit later in the season as they tend to do. I still predict a 7-5 ceiling with or without Connor
