The best is when someone disagrees with one of their future predictions and they go ape shite. Can you imagine this time last year if I said their greatest team of all time would go 9-4? They never cease to amaze.

I don't think LSU fans are embarrassed too much by the loss in the NCG. Bama came to play and we didn't. We all love to say this and that but we had a chance to silence it and put a signature on that season. It doesn't matter about how Bama got there, they did and claimed the crystal.

There you go, that's a good response.

I would say being the only team ever held scoreless in the BCS National Championship Game while totaling 92 yards and five first downs has got to be embarrassing. I mean, think about that for a minute... 92 TOTAL yards. FIVE first downs. I've been watching football for almost half a century, and that was the most thorough beatdown I've seen. And the fact that Bama pounded LSU in the state of Louisiana just makes it that much sweeter. To top it off, the score should have been even worse, because Bama missed a makeable field goal and an extra point.

LSU losing a rematch game to a team they already beat or Bama needing a rematch to win a championship or Bert is fat I'll hang up and listen.

I hope we "get embarrassed" on a regular basis.

Technically, that could actually happen under the new system too.

Why are you rehashing ancient history when the real question is, when will Bama stop spread offenses?

Where was the 9-6 game played? On Alabama soil, on your campus.
Bama won that night but anyone saying lsu showed up is kidding themselves.
Congrats on the win but that whole ending was a shite show.
You got a rematch you shouldn't have got and everyone outside of Alabama feels that way.
There have been many teams that "deserved" to be in the title game in past years, and that was one of the worst cases ever.

Honest answer though, 21-0 proves 9-6 was a fluke. I hate that Alabama got a second chance, but they proved they were the better team.
Not really, As far as Im concerned the series sat at 1-1 with LSU having won more games on the season. If we played a again, not so sure we would have lost.

Yeah, you would have. Might have made it into triple digits in total offense, though.
Or not.
Or not.
