OR if Alabama would of been dropped in the rankings lower than just one notch losing at home, the rematch NEVER would of happen. I bet everything if LSU lost at home in overtime to bama we would of been dropped at least 3 to 4 notches in the polls. Any of you SEC teams would not of beaten Alabama in a rematch!!! That includes Auburn last year. Auburn was lucky we did not have the 4 team playoff last year, they would of had to play Bama again and no way they would of won, PERIOD!!!!

The fact that this stings so many lsu fans to this day should be enough. Even Aggies have largely made peace with our last tilt with texas, and that was arguably a more destructive and suspect result.

They just have too much pride. They cannot admit that their best team ever was straight up embarrassed by Bama.

Yes it may haunt some of us, but LSU one day will get it's revenge on bama and make that game look elementary!!!!

That being said, it took LSU 10 years to appear in their first SEC title game. We've still got a ways to go before ya'll can talk shite.

I don't think Aggies realize that even with that horrible NC showing LSU is still a millennium ahead of A&M program wise.

Still deflecting. I understand though, there isn't a team out there that wouldn't be embarrassed by that performance.
