The 2020 Alabama Crimson Tide. I don't ever remember a team more loaded offensively than that one. Three of the top five Heisman picks were on the same team. Jaylen waddle going down didn't even hurt the team. Think about that. The incredible amount of offensive Talent on that team makes me wonder if Texas jumped the gun hiring Sark. It seemed as if Sark could not even call a bad play that year but now I'm thinking maybe it was the guys on the field.

It's kind of tough to look back at an upcoming season.

Ranking all 32 teams that have made the College Football Playoff

quote:

1. 2020 Alabama (13-0)

CFP result: Beat Notre Dame 31-14; beat Ohio State 52-24

The Crimson Tide had the No. 1, 3 and 5 finishers in the Heisman voting. They played one game decided by fewer than 14 points. They bested an SEC-only schedule by an average of 30.2 points per game. Their defense struggled early but allowed only 15 points per game after mid-October. This was the best Nick Saban team ever and quite possibly the best of the 21st century.

Best team ... from the best coach ... with the best dynasty of the 21st century (at the very least)? Sounds like the best team of the CFP era.

They would've lost to LSU if all of our players wouldn't have been injured.

This thread needs to be deleted.

Won’t lead to anything good.

It was impressive how Alabama managed to beat an Ohio State team that was missing 6 starters on defense due to Covid protocol.

The fact that anyone actually believes 2020 Alabama was better than 2019 LSU is mind boggling to me

Justin Jefferson and JaMarr Chase were back to back best rookie receivers in the NFL and Joe Burrow was super bowl runner up in his first full season

Freshly, imported Brazilian crack must've made its way into Tuscaloosa recently.

The three (3) greatest teams of all time are:

-- 1971 Nebraska Cornhuskers
-- 1972 USC Trojans
-- 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers

Hmmmm, don't see Alabama NOR LSU in there!
