They just have to look out for those land mines.
The surprise let down gag for some reason is the toughest thing to get past for programs trying to get over the hump

UGA better bring their a-game when they play the Wildcats.

They can get TN or SC this year. Leave us alone!
The game we’d lose in the OP scenario would be MSU. Screams shades of 2018 when the Cats were humbled by Georgia after having a chance to control the East... then played like dogshit in Knoxville the next week, basically letting UGA win “twice” while Tenner got the actual dubya.

They will get a few more victims before the season is over

Or at least 10-2. That would be something!

I don't know. I see a potential 4-5 game losing streak on that schedule.

Preseason UK was my dark horse for having a great season. As in battle for the SECw

Kentucky hasn’t won in Starkville since 2008 and most of those games have not been close, even with some pretty good UK teams. In spite of how ugly State’s last couple of trips to Lexington have been, I still think in Starkville that game is a true toss up as we sit here today. It’s also in a bit of a letdown spot for UK based on where it sits in the schedule.
Generally speaking that is a really nice schedule, though. No reason they should be any worse than 8-4, and it is totally in play for them to finish above that.

UK has a shot at beating every team they play.

They'll lose some game they shouldn't have because they're Kentucky

If they can keep their qb upright and healthy.

You’re not wrong. But the last time we came to Starkville we hadn’t yet put Lynn Bowden at QB and we didn’t have a QB. Weird spot that year. Most think if we play Lynn at QB we win that game. Miss st had been better than us but that has changed in the last 3 or 4 years. No excuse for him to lose that game.
