I don't know why people are so obsessed with Kiffin. He's a rich-kid daddy's boy that's never really accomplished anything other than the few years he rode Saban and Kirby's coat tails to a ring. He's a "bro" coach that metro-sexual frat boys fawn over. He ocassionally gets "savage" on Twitter and the guffawing finger sniffers go nuts because their lives are otherwise empty. Perfect fit for Ole Miss, I guess.
And before any of you State fans start upvoting me, ask me what I think of Mike Leach.

And... they will likely have to pay Harsin a lot more than his buyout due to a possible defamation suit if they don't.
No we won't. He's going to walk away with $15 million and whatever he earned the last 18 months and he's gonna go away.

Do you remember any of his other names? Had another A&M alter for sure. I do remember that.

Post sounds about right. You need mental help if something like that has effected you this long.
By the way that is not me you thin skinned freak.
Funny part is it had more up votes than down so most think you a nut case.

settle for 8-4 every most years and a championship run about every 10-15 years if everyone else is down.
Which would be a significant step up from Ole Miss.

Not sure. There’s some good candidates though.

Not often I’m In 100% agreement with a UGA fan but here it is. Spot on to how I look at Kitfin. AU needs stability now more than ever, wtf would anyones first answer to that be Kiffin? I doubt he’d leave OM right now anyway just because how AU has handled the Harsin situation but I don’t want him either. Idk what the answer is for AU, but I don’t believe it’s him.
Yes AU is a far better position than OM historically but denying that they’ve shot themselves in the foot and really made it less desirable than it should be is just cope. That could easily be solved but how would any coach trust that it is until they actually prove it?

Also just like Bama did with Saban, OM got the frick out of the way and let Lane be in charge. Auburn has proven time and time again that they won't do that.
I think even our thickheaded braintrust realizes that the most successful CFB programs are the ones that have given a solid HC total control of the program. If the right guy is available (not saying it's Kiff, but it could be), they will give him the keys.
quote:Kiff burned the Bama bridge when he quit the week before they played for the CFP Championship. And Kirb is a couple of months younger than Kiff, with no NFL aspirations that I can see, so that job is unlikely to come open in the next 15 years or more.
Also by Lane going to Auburn he burns the bridges of ever going to Bama or Georgia. Jobs that are a hell of a lot better than Auburn and he could get by being successful at OM.
That said, I don't see Kiffin leaving Oxford, pine box or no pine box. He's actually in a pretty good spot, and there will always be money available to pay him top dollar (and with Sexton as his agent, you WILL pay him top dollar).

Not when the boosters run the show at Auburn. Got the last coach fired. Got the AD fired. Hiring an AD to do the boosters bidding. That aint it hoss.

It couldn't possibly be the record breaking offenses he had at Bama or unprecedented success he is having at Ole Miss.

So you’re not sorry huh?
Ok.
Ok.

Look, making it to the SECCG once over 30 years is probably enough for Kiffy at Ole Miss. Wait ... what? Sorry, that was Mississippi State that has made the SECCG once.
My bad.
Auburn is undoubtedly miles away from making to Atlanta any time soon. But there is absolutely no reason to think Auburn won't be back in the SECCG before Ole Miss makes it a first time.

No reason at all? Perhaps you're blind and SECRANT is ADA compliant?

You need to be in a mental hospital and drugged for about 5 years. I pity your family. I will pray for your family in dealing with your insanity.

Where is Auburn going to find the buyout money for Harsin the $15 mil to buyout Lane and the 10 mil x 6 it will take for Lane to even listen?
I love the out of nowhere narrative that Auburn is some poverty level program.
Auburn paid about $75MM to fire Gus and staff and hire Harsin and staff without a second thought. The money isn't a problem.
