DKR will be a bottom-half of the conference experience in the SEC.

Florida
Georgia
Texas A&M
Tennessee
Auburn
Alabama
LSU
(In no certain order)
Will all be epic atmospheres they will have to deal with as far as loud and intimidating. I could even put South Carolina in there, too.

Yes SCAR is a great atmosphere when rocking.

Arkansas also tops DKR. As does Oklahoma

So that DKR at, what? 11th in the conference? Maybe up to 10th when SCAR is down?

Didn't LSU go to DKR and come out with a victory even with Sam Ehlinger having one of his best statistical performances of his career? Wasn't that like recently?

I don't think "the SEC" will be in for any "eye-opening" events in that stadium.

I was at that game. Sure, it was loud. But it was nothing compared to Death Valley, The Swamp, Bryant-Denny or even Neyland Stadium.

Bama and LSU I believe are the only 2 that have played in the game from the west since we made the jump to the SEC.

We trying to get there. Getting close!

Since 2007, only Bama, LSU and Auburn have won the West. We have the random one offs of Arkansas in 95, 2002 and 2006 and State in 1998. Other than that, Bama, LSU and Auburn have over whelmingly dominated the division.

The East has had more squads win it.

Both divisions have had 5 of 7 go to Atlanta. KY, Vandy, Ole Miss, & A&M are the only teams that haven’t.

Yeah. If they expect to come into the SEC and intimidate teams with atmosphere they will be very, very disappointed.
They'll have win with talent and coaching. They have always had the talent. Coaching? Not so much. This year should tell us a lot about Sarkisian as a HC.

Texas has just not been the same since Mack left. I think they had a better chance sticking with Herman but they jumped over a $20 bill to get to a $5 bill with Sark. With NIL deals they are bringing in more talent and transfers but recruiting has never been their issue. They will improve the talent level enough to win the Big 12 before coming over to the SEC. In 2025 they will go from a 10-2 team to a 8-4 or 7-5 team.

I really havent seen any longhorns saying that Texas is going to come in here expecting easy environments or that DKR is hardest place to play.

They do love their strawman arguments here.

Will depend on the quality of the next HC hire. I don’t expect to ever be competitive with Sarkisian as HC.

I would give it 4-6 years and two coaching changes. Sark isn’t the one but recruiting will be better (SEC size/speed) than previous years. I expect a .500 season for the first two years, then improving after that.

IN all seriousness...what do you consider competitive?

Texas was 5-7 in a much, much weaker conference last season, so I am curious to know what your definition of competitive is. A record of......what?
