Football FWIW.
What’s a realistic timeframe y’all are giving your team when they get to the SEC?

And does aggy get there sooner?

Texas is about to be blown the frick away when they get into the SEC and start playing road games in 100k stadiums.

Considering Texas gets OU at a neutral site every year, the wildest away game environments they see are at Texas Tech and Oklahoma State.

You could tell how rattled they were at Arkansas last year, for sure.

A&M can't even get there and they've had a far better decade in a superior conference.

Might take Tejas 15-20 years to break through

Took Mizzou 1 season to get to the SECCG tho and they been twice since. So TAMU isnt a good measurement of success.

To be fair, Mizzou was blessed with joining the East right as Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina decided to start tripping over their own dicks

A&M got sent to the meat grinder out West

And immediately had the best season they'd had in more than a decade.

Well, no. I mean, they're still aggy, but their first season in the SEC was better than any they'd had in the BigXII.

First
Who knows if Ewers will be any good. Let’s say he is. He will be gone by 2025.

So I guess it will be Arch

And as Pinkel's decade+ of building Mizzou into a high level program was culminating.

Yes, the East was down, but Mizzou in those last few Pinkel seasons was a damn good program too. Perfect timing for Mizzou joining the East to really elevate their program. Unfortunate they couldn't keep it going after Pinkel.

Well we had a Heisman winner on our team. Made a huge difference.

A Heisman winning qb helps with that.

And somehow still hasn't played in Atlanta in December. Odd, isn't it?

Didn't LSU go to DKR and come out with a victory even with Sam Ehlinger having one of his best statistical performances of his career? Wasn't that like recently?

I don't think "the SEC" will be in for any "eye-opening" events in that stadium.

Bama and LSU I believe are the only 2 that have played in the game from the west since we made the jump to the SEC.

We trying to get there. Getting close!
