The talk of a national championship is, and was, fruity. After the Indiana loss there was no way it was going to happen.

The real question is can Mizzou beat Alabama?
If you believe it's impossible then all of the clamor for respect is wasted.

I'm well over 40. A Mizzou win would make this the greatest season of my lifetime.

I believe it's possible.

The polls are meaningless.
The national championship is meaningless.
The opinions of writers are meaningless.

Hardware is meaningful.

An SEC Championship is the 2nd most desirable achievement in college sports and the best we can do this year. A Mizzou win would shock the sports world and be remembered in perpetuity.

Focus on the possibility, not the impossible.

Go Mizzou! Beat ALabama!

Are people here really talking about Mizzou in the playoffs? I know there were a couple posts on the Mizzou board, but people are pretty realistic over there.

TB is crazy as shite, but that's TB.

Then there's TigerNick who I'm sure is talking playoff.

frick, there's a lot of crazy Mizzou fans, aren't there?

You don't think a Mizzou win would shock the sports world? I can tell you Mizzou fans would definitely remember an SEC Championship forever.

Mizzou definitely. A program helped and Gary Pinkel's crowning achievement at Mizzou. However, Ole Miss beat Alabama earlier in the season but nobody really gives a shite now because they got exposed by the gauntlet of the SEC. However, y'all are in a much better position in the spotlight now.

I gave 2 shits actually. I thought it was a great win for Ole Miss and I'm sure their fan base really enjoyed it. I'm downright jealous.

I thought we were burning Atlanta down?

I was told there would be burning of cities.

I was born in Ferguson, Indiana.
