Ouch, thanks for bringing up that Ole Sarge mascot. I thought I had removed that nightmare from my memory forever.
One of the few bad ideas that Jackie Sherrill had. It debuted in 1986 or 1987 and was around for all of one game and it disappeared forever. Thankfully.

I wish it were from the 20s, but it was from the 80s.
It caught all kinds of hell in the student paper and disappeared forever after just the one week.

I didn't realize this either. Apparently it was booed out of the stadium before halftime lololol...
I think we should bring him back, he's scary AF.
